The Tuffin family moved from the city to the countryside in 2010. For 20 years unril 2016, Bernard and Gerda owned and managed Flowercraft Florists in Cape Town which had blossomed into four branches in Pinelands, Milnerton, Durbanville and Fish Hoek.
They moved to Voorbaat, Ladismith with five young children aged between 2 and 12 years.
The past 15 years have been very exciting and special years as the family became adapted to farm life and all its challenges.
The Tuffin family looks forward to sharing the peace and beauty of this Klein Karoo Valley with their guests who can stay in the farm cottages or the Manor House.

Lovely, homely spot to stay with a friendly and dedicated family of hosts.

A worthwhile destination for a stop over on Route 62, value for money and you own cabin. We took our own food, we had a warm welcome and met several friendly dogs, we had a lovely walk, the location is sublime, basic but functional. Would love to stay again.
Tim
A lovely place at the foot of the mountain. We loved this home away from home. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed climbing the mountain and feeding the farm animals and milking the goats. The delightful atmosphere of the farm has made our winter holiday great. Thank you very much!

Rustig in die natuur. Geen stadsgewoel, gerus, heelwat voëls wat in bosse en bome om huisie rondspring en eet. Baie lekker in die aand in die donker op die stoep. Huisie is goed ingerig.

We would highly recommend this stop-over close to Ladismith, and suggest a minimum of two nights. Wonderful farm atmosphere, quiet in beautiful countryside, with warm cosy cottage, with everything we needed, and more, with no cellphone, WiFi or TV in the Bluegum cottage (But with good WiFi available in the Reception Office), The Tuffin family (including the dogs Curly and Jock) are friendly an willing to provide all the information and assistance needed. Can be really appreciated from very young to very old!!
Kenneth
I wished we stayed longer. Remote and comfortable.
Jonathan
Charming, relaxing gem.
