Cycling Routes around Ladismith
Anthony, our inhouse cycling fanatic, has built an MTB route on the farm and can also guide you on other routes around the area.

R323-Prinspoort-Touwsberg-Rietfontein-Buffelsdrift
- Depart west from Ladismith on the Laingsburg tar road.
- After 23km of quiet tar road, transition onto a gravel road.
- At 36km, note a road to the left marked Montagu.
- Continue for another 8km and turn left, passing through Prinspoort and Plathuis.
- Turn left into the Touwsberg Nature Reserve and pass Rietfontein Guest Farm.
- Continue for 18.5km, exiting the reserve during this stretch.
- At the next intersection, turn right, cross the Groot River, and turn left at the junction into Buffelsdrift Conservancy.
- Follow the dirt road, crossing the tar road at Winkelplaas, and take the first left into Skilpadskloof.
- Continue to Dankoord School at the Laingsburg tar road.
- Turn right and return to Ladismith.
